Yizkor Services

Yizkor is a Hebrew word that means "remembrance." The Yizkor service is a Jewish memorial service that is traditionally held on the holidays of Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, Passover, and Shavuot.

During the Yizkor service at Congregation B'nai Israel, prayers are recited in memory of loved ones who have passed away. The service includes readings from the Torah, Psalms, and other sacred Jewish texts, as well as the recitation of special memorial prayers.

The Yizkor service is a time for reflection and remembrance, and it is a way for individuals to honor the memory of their loved ones and find comfort in their faith.
